Timeline of Wars

The Timeline of Wars ties all the exhibits in the Museum together. Located in the central walls of the pentagonal Museum building, the Timeline traces in sequence the wars and military operations in which United States Military Forces have been engaged from the American Revolution through Operation Iraqi Freedom. Each significant military event is illustrated with photographs and military artifacts.

The Timeline begins near the Museum lobby with a special exhibit featuring several items familiar to ground troops: a pup tent, a 30 caliber machine gun, a simulated fox hole, a field desk and field rations.
